How To Choose The Inverter Reactor?

The following from the rated AC current selection, voltage drop, the choice of inductance, the corresponding rated current of the inductance and cable length and other aspects were analyzed.

1.The choice of rated AC current

The rated AC current is the long-term operating current designed for the reactor from the point of view of heat generation, and sufficient high-order harmonic components should be considered. That is, the current actually flowing through the output reactor is the output current of the inverter's motor load.

2.Voltage drop

Voltage drop refers to the actual voltage drop across the reactor coil at 50 Hz, corresponding to the actual rated current. Usually choose the voltage drop in the 4V ~ 8V or so.

3.Inductance selection

Reactor rated inductance is also an important parameter! If the choice of inductance is not suitable, it will directly affect the change of voltage drop under rated current, thus causing fault. The amount of inductance depends on the reactor core cross-sectional area and coil turns and air gap adjustment. The choice of output reactor inductance is based on the length of the cable in the rated frequency range to determine, and then the actual rated current of the motor to select the appropriate inductance of the core cross-sectional area and wire cross-sectional area, in order to determine the actual voltage drop .

The ideal reactor in the rated AC current and below, the inductance should remain unchanged, with the current increases, while the inductance decreases.

When the rated current is greater than 2 times, the inductance decreases to 0.6 times the rated inductance.

When the rated current is greater than 2.5 times, the inductance decreases to 0.5 times the rated inductance.

When the rated current is greater than 4 times, the inductance decreases to 0.35 times the rated inductance.
